Turkish quake death toll rises

The death toll from the devastating earthquake in eastern Turkey has risen to 523, officials say.

Prime minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s centre for crisis and emergency management said 1,650 people were injured and 185 were rescued from the rubble.
