Archaeologists find 1,000-year-old Viking burial site in Scotland

A Viking boat burial site has been discovered by archaeologists working in the Scottish Highlands.

The five metre-long grave on the west coast's remote Ardnamurchan peninsula contains the remains of a high-status Viking who was buried with an axe, sword and spear.

It is the first intact boat burial site to be uncovered on the UK mainland and is thought to be a 1,000 years old.
