Bin Laden courier's phone 'contained contacts of group used by Pakistan intelligence agency'
A mobile phone of Osama bin Laden's trusted courier recovered in the US raid that killed both men contained contacts for a militant group that is a long-time asset of Pakistan's intelligence agency, it was reported today.
In a story posted on The New York Times website, senior American officials and others briefed on the findings said the discovery indicated bin Laden used the group, Harakat-ul-Mujahedeen, as part of his support network inside Pakistan.
