Security guard avoids jail after shooting wart off finger

A British man has avoided prison after shooting off a wart on his finger.

Sean Murphy, 38, thought it would be a good idea to use a 12-bore shotgun to blast off a wart on his finger after experiencing difficulty trying to remove it with medical products, but most of the digit was also taken off and he was charged for possessing the gun.
