Zebra learns to show jump

A US zebra has been taught to show jump.

The six-year-old animal called Zack, who lives on a farm in Texas, was always leaping out of his paddock, so his owner Sammi Jo Stohler decided to put his bad behaviour to good use and educated him to carry a rider and hurdle show jumping fences.

She explained: "I could see Zack was very athletic so I thought I'd try him on some show jumping fences and he loved it.

"He can now comfortably clear a 2ft 8inch fence with a rider. I take him to shows and he loves it."
