Up to 200,000 expected after rogue party invite

A house in Australia is expecting 200,000 party guests after an invitation was sent out on a hacked Facebook page.

Police are on alert for the mass invasion of the home belonging to the parents of a 16-year-old girl and have arrested the 17-year-old boy who posted the open invite using her account.

Police Inspector Terry Dalton said: "The only thing that anybody who turns up on that street will be met by will be some police vehicles patrolling the area."

The troublesome teenager was charged with using a telecommunications carrier to harass or offend someone and will appear in court.

The girl's parents have since removed her Facebook page.
