Fugitive Moat 'better off dead', says mother

Britain’s most wanted man remained at large for a sixth day today as his mother said her son would be “better off dead”.

Fugitive Raoul Moat, 37, is believed to be holed up in the remote countryside surrounding the village of Rothbury, Northumbria.
