Kurdish rebels kill seven Turkish soldiers

Kurdish rebels have killed seven soldiers in an attack on an outpost near the Iraqi border, Turkey’s state-run news agency said today.

The Anatolia news agency said eight other soldiers were wounded.

The military has sent reinforcements to the area and clashes between the troops and rebels were continuing.
