Iraqi official held on terror charge

Iraqi police said today they have arrested a local official on terrorism charges after finding a large amount of explosives in his home.

Diyala provincial security chief Amer Rifaat says 11lb of TNT and three remote-control devices were uncovered at the Sunni official’s home in the town of Sadiyah, 60 miles north of Baghdad.
