Man charged over killing of UK diplomat
Jamaican authorities have charged a suspect in the murder of a British honorary consul last year.
Assistant Police Commissioner Les Green identified the suspect as 23-year-old Richard Ewan, a security guard from Montego Bay.
Mr Green said Mr Ewan knew John Terry but declined to state the nature of their relationship.
Mr Terry was found beaten and strangled at his home in northwestern Jamaica in early September.
The 65-year-old New Zealand native had lived on the Caribbean island since 1967 and was honorary consul for 13 years. Mr Terry received an MBE in 1992.
