French bank robbers tunnel into vault

Bank robbers bored through an underground wall into a vault in central Paris and ransacked hundreds of private safe boxes.

Police said today the thieves entered through a neighbouring cellar and broke into the boxes at the Credit Lyonnais branch near the city’s Opera House over the weekend.
