Congo rebels killed 321 villagers in December
It has been reported that rebels in the Democratic Republic of Congo have killed up to 321 villagers.
The massacre, which took place last December, was previously unreported.
Rebel troops have been accused by human rights groups of engaging in a killing spree in the north-east of the country.
Many of the dead were killed with machetes, axes and sticks.
The killings are believed to have been carried out by rebels from Uganda's Lord's Resistance Army, which has been accused of terrorising African people over the past 20 years.
