New poll woe for Brown

The Conservative Party in the UK have strengthened their opinion poll lead over Labour, according to a survey tonight.

The ICM poll for The Guardian put the Conservatives on 40% – unchanged on last month - while Labour was down two points on 29%, giving the Tories an 11-point advantage.
