Trial threat to Iran opposition leaders

Iranian opposition leaders were today warned they could face trial if they do not denounce the anti-government protests sweeping the country.

State prosecutor Gholam Hossein Mohseni Ejehei said they could be accused of supporting people who defied God by protesting against the government last Sunday, when Shiite Muslims observed the sacred day of Ashoura.
