Spanish police said today that they were investigating whether Basque separatist group ETA still has an active unit on Majorca after two small bombs exploded on the popular tourist island yesterday.

One device went off in La Rigoleta restaurant on the Can Pere Antoni beachfront in the capital, Palma, and the second in an underground passage at the central Plaza Mayor square, the government said.
