A village chief in southern Thailand was so upset by the corpses of murdered women being left in an isolated part of his town, and the predictions of a shaman that more were to come, that he erected a sign simply reading: “No Dumping Dead Bodies Here”.

Krajang Noondum, the chief of Khuan Kong village, said today that over the past few months the bodies of two woman had been dumped on a rubber plantation in the town and some citizens are so frightened they refused to drive by the deserted area at night.
