Five US troops killed in Iraq

Five US soldiers were shot dead at an American base in Baghdad today.

A brief US statement said the incident was at Camp Liberty near Baghdad International Airport. It gave no further details, including whether the shooter was among the dead.

On May 2, two American soldiers died after an attacker wearing an Iraqi army uniform opened fire near the northern city of Mosul.
