Hungary gunman kills school head and teacher

A masked gunman shot dead a school head and a teacher in a Budapest neighbourhood.

Budapest police spokesman Endre Kormos said the unidentified gunman also shot a security guard in the hand in last night’s attack.

He said says the gunman fled the school in Csepel after the shootings and there was no information yet on the motive for the attack.

A reward has been offered for information leading to the killer’s capture.

The two male victims were shot in the head.

Csepel is on the northern tip of a large island in the Danube River and during the communist regime was the hub of Budapest’s heavy industry.
