Thai court issues new arrest warrant for Thaksin

A Thai court issued a second arrest warrant today for deposed prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra, who fled to London to escape a string of corruption cases at home.

The Supreme Court issued the warrant when former Manchester City FC owner Mr Thaksin failed to appear in court to answer charges against him in one of four pending corruption cases.
