Court jails attackers in child rape outrage in Australia

An Australian appeal court today overturned a judge’s ruling and jailed three men and two boys who raped a 10-year-old girl in an Outback community.

The Queensland state Court of Appeal ordered the five, who pleaded guilty to the rape in a remote Aboriginal community in mid-2006, to serve prison sentences.
