Clinton expected to officially end Presidential bid today
The race for the White House could take a new direction later today, if Hilary Clinton officially suspends her presidential campaign.
It is anticipated that she will endorse her Democrat rival Barack Obama when she addresses a rally in Washington.
The pair held a private meeting on Thursday to discuss uniting the party.
However strategists have indicated that it is becoming less and less likely that Senator Clinton will run alongside Obama as his Vice President.
Time magazine columnist Joe Klein, believes that the ‘Bill’ factor could hampen Hilary’s chances.
“I think that Bill Clinton has been a really major burden on Hilary Clinton and is a major burden going forward as Barak Obama considers whether she would be an appropriate Vice President,” Mr Klein said.
