UN to discuss new Iran sanctions

The foreign ministers of the five permanent United Nations Security Council members plus Germany will discuss possible new sanctions against Iran next week for its refusal to freeze uranium enrichment, UN officials said.

Two diplomats said the meeting was tentatively planned for January 22 in Berlin.
