One dead, two critical after zoo tiger escapes
A tiger escaped from its pen at the San Francisco Zoo today, killing one man and critically injuring two others before police shot it dead, authorities said.
The three men were in their 20s; they were together and were not zoo employees, said San Francisco Police spokesman Steve Mannina said. They were attacked just after closing time at 5pm (1am Irish Time), on the east end of the 125-acre grounds.
