Russian minister arrested

Russia's Deputy Finance Minister, Sergei Storchak, one of the top officials on international financial relations, has been arrested, a Finance Ministry spokesman said tonight.

Spokesman Andrei Saiko confirmed the arrest and expressed the ministry's hope for an objective investigation, but did not give further details.
