Military panel sentences sniper to five months

A military panel today sentenced sniper Jorge G Sandoval to five months in prison, reduction in rank and forfeiture of pay for planting evidence in connection with the deaths of two Iraqi civilians.

Sandoval, 22, was acquitted of murder charges over the April and May deaths of two unidentified men.
