UN warns of global disease crisis

Infectious diseases are spreading across the world faster than ever before, the UN health agency has said, calling on governments to follow its revised regulations for fighting dangerous heath crises.

“Vulnerability is universal,” WHO Director-General Dr. Margaret Chan said in an introduction to the annual World Health Report, this year titled A Safer Future.
