Panda attacks zookeeper

A zookeeper needed more than 100 stitches after a panda viciously bit and scratched him during feeding time at a zoo in China, a newspaper reported today.

The zookeeper, surnamed Zhang, was taken to hospital after the attack on Saturday at a zoo in Lanzhou, Gansu province, but his life was not in danger, the Lanzhou Morning Post reported.
