Rice to meet Palestinian leaders

US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice arrived in Ramallah today for talks with the moderate West Bank Palestinian leadership, to lay the groundwork for a peace conference with Israel.

Rice is to meet President Mahmoud Abbas, Prime Minister Salam Fayyad and take part in the meeting of the new Cabinet that was installed after Hamas’ bloody takeover of the Gaza Strip.
