India’s highest court today rejected an Indian man’s plea to stop his extradition to Britain to face trial for allegedly raping and killing Hannah Foster, an attorney said.

However, the Supreme Court fixed July 20 to hear arguments on Maninder Pal Singh Kohli’s appeal challenging a magistrate’s earlier decision that there was enough evidence to justify sending him to Britain for trial over the 17-year-old’s rape and murder in Southampton, said A K Vali, the prosecutor.
