Eight killed in blast at ancient Temple site

An explosion rocked a tourist site of an ancient temple in Yemen’s north-east province of Mareb today, causing casualties among the site’s visitors, police said.

Police said the explosion this afternoon was at the temple, which is frequented by tourists.

Police in the province said eight people had been killed and seven wounded.
