Militant website 'to release video of captured US soldiers'
An Islamic militant website today said it would soon release video clips showing the capture of three American soldiers who went missing in Iraq in mid-May.
The body of one soldier was later found, but the other two remain missing.
The Washington-based SITE Institute said it had obtained the 10 minute, 41 second video that showed the planning stages and kidnapping operation as well as footage taken after the attack.
The institute, which monitors militant websites, said the video also showed the identification cards of the two of the soldiers. A prominent Islamic website said in a banner headline said it would soon show the video, but it was not yet posted.
