Self-proclaimed Spider-Man Alain Robert – a French "urban climber" – was arrested as he attempted to scale Malaysia’s 88-storey Petronas Twin Towers with his bare hands for the second time in 10 years.

Robert was detained as he made it to the 60th floor of Tower 2 in Kuala Lumpur, where he unfurled a Malaysian flag to a cheering crowd below before being led away by authorities, said Fire Department spokesman Christopher Chong.
