US hints at next date for Korean nuclear talks
The US State Department indicated today that the next round of six-party Korean nuclear disarmament talks will begin in about the second week in February in China.
Spokesman Sean McCormack said the official announcement is up to Beijing, but US negotiator Christopher Hill has a plane ticket for China for âon or about February 8â.
In recent weeks, Hill has been holding preliminary talks with China, Japan and the two Koreas in preparation for the next round.
