At least five killed, 14 hurt, in Baghdad car bomb blast

At least five people were killed and 14 wounded today when a car bomb exploded near a vegetable market in south-west Baghdad.

The blast occurred at a greengrocers’ wholesale depot at about 1.15pm (10.15am Irish time) in Sadiyah, a primarily Sunni area of the Iraqi capital, officials said.
