Terrorists bomb UK Islamic aid truck
A bomb planted in a truck belonging to a UK-based Islamic aid group exploded in north-western Pakistan today, wounding its driver and three passers-by, an official said.
The bomb, rigged to a timer, exploded in the truck that was parked near a school in Sada Gul village, about 24 miles south of Quetta’s provincial capital, Peshawar, said local security official Ismail Khan.
The driver and three men in the area were wounded, but their conditions were unknown, Khan said.
The vehicle was owned by Islamic Response International UK, an aid group trying to improve public awareness against diseases in the remote region, Khan said.
