Japan remains on military alert for more missile tests
Japan will remain on military alert because of the threat of more missile tests by North Korea, a Defence Agency spokesman said today.
âThere is a possibility that North Korea will act again,â Said Defence Agency deputy director Takemasa Moriya, referring to the communist countryâs seven missile tests.
Takemasa said Japanâs military will be kept on alert for more launches.
Japan âcannot downplayâ North Koreaâs missile programme, given the fact that the country is apparently trying to perfect long-range missile capability, Moriya said.
