35,000 chickens set for slaughter on UK bird flu farm

All of the 35,000 chickens on a British farm at the centre of a bird flu outbreak will be slaughtered, as bio-security measures are put in place to prevent the spread of the virus.

Police officers stood guard at the entrance to the farm in Norfolk after a number of dead chickens tested positive for the virus.
