Police today captured two crocodiles being kept as pets at a house in southern Portugal.

Police today captured two crocodiles being kept as pets at a house in southern Portugal.

The crocodiles, each aged about 18 and measuring 2.5 metres long, were living in a closed back garden in conditions similar to those of their natural habitat, the Nature and Environment protection branch of the Portimao police, who found the animals, said.
