French arrest three with suspected links to Zarqawi

French counter-terrorism agents arrested three suspects believed to have “indirect links” to al-Qaida in Iraq leader Abu Musab al-Zarqawi today, a police spokeswoman said.

The sweep in the Paris area came in connection with a similar operation on Monday in the Paris area and in the northern Oise region, which netted 25 suspects, said national police spokeswoman Catherine Casteran.
