Charles and Camilla attempt to win over US

Prince Charles has launched a PR offensive as he prepares to head for America with new wife, Camilla Parker-Bowles.

The couple arrive there tomorrow.

The memory of Princess Diana remains strong in the US. The Royal couple were popular there during the 1980s and 1990s and winning hearts and minds may prove to be difficult for the new couple.

The Prince appeared on the CBS Sixty Minutes programme and said that he hoped when he was dead and gone that people might appreciate what he does a little more.
