1,500 Portuguese firefighters tackle forest blazes

Six wildfires are burning out of control in Portugal where a hot, dry summer is stretching into the autumn.

The Civil Protection Service says more than 1,500 firefighters with 420 vehicles are trying to extinguish the outbreaks in central and northern Portugal.
