Two Greek air traffic controllers are to face disciplinary charges for inadequate communication with the pilot of a Cypriot airliner that crashed north of Athens last month, killing all 121 people on board.

Greece’s Civil Aviation Authority today said an internal investigation faulted the controllers for not seeking to establish radio contact with Helios Airways flight 522 when it entered airspace under Athens’ jurisdiction.
