Taliban rebels die in clashes

Fighting in Afghanistan has left four suspected Taliban insurgents dead and two Afghan police wounded, the US military said today.

One militant was killed on Friday after a roadside bomb detonated near a US and Afghan military convoy south of Kabul, the military said in a statement.
