A British al-Qaida suspect appeared in court today accused of trying to set up a terrorist training camp in the United States.

Haroon Rashid Aswat, 30, who was arrested in Lusaka, Zambia, last month, denied any involvement in terrorism as American lawyers applied for his extradition.
