Stay where you are, police urge Londoners

Metropolitan Police Commissioner Ian Blair appealed to Londoners to "stay where you are" after today's "very serious incident" in the city.

The series of incidents in London are “clearly very serious”, Mr Blair said.

He said the explosions were “smaller than on the last occasion but we do not know the implications of all this yet”.
