Eight die in Moroccan bus crash
A bus carrying French tourists collided with another vehicle and swerved off the road in Morocco, killing eight and injuring 30 others.
Seven people died immediately in yesterday’s crash and an eighth died overnight, said French officials.
A Briton and two Moroccans in the other vehicle were among the injured.
Details of the accident remained unclear. According to official accounts, the bus heading from Ouarzazate to Agadir on the Atlantic coast was in collision with a passing vehicle carrying two Britons and swerved off the road.
A third vehicle also apparently had a role in the accident.
Road accidents are frequent in Morocco, and killed 3,800 people last year.
