Catholic archbishop kidnapped in Iraq

A Catholic archbishop in Mosul, Iraq, has been kidnapped, the Vatican said today.

“The Holy See deplores in the firmest way such a terrorist act,” a Vatican statement said, asking that he be freed immediately.
