'Assassination attempt' turns out to be road rage

The US embassy in Belgrade apologised today for a road accident that was initially thought to be an assassination attempt on President Boris Tadic.

The Belgrade crash was initially described by the president’s office as an apparent attempt on his life because of his pro-Western policies.
