China executes five
Five people were executed today for killing a former vice president of Hong Kong-based satellite broadcaster Phoenix Television and four others during a robbery.
The bodies of Zhou Yinan, his wife, five-year-old daughter, housekeeper and accountant were found at the family home in the southern city of Shenzhen, near Hong Kong.
Four men and a woman were sentenced to death in September for the killings and two other people received two years in prison for handling stolen goods from Zhou’s home.
