Iraqis wounded in car bomb attack
A car bomb exploded in the northern Iraqi city of Mosul today, wounding at least 10 Iraqi civilians, the US military said.
Captain Angela Bowman said the bomb appeared to target a US military convoy on the western edge of the city.
No US soldiers were killed in the blast, which was aimed at troops from the Army's 2nd Infantry Division's Stryker Brigade, based in Washington State. Bowman said it was too early to say whether any US troops were wounded.
The 10 Iraqis were evacuated to a local hospital, Bowman said.
